Income Tax E-Filing
Income tax returns are filed electronically on the government portal. We e-file your return end to end — picking the right form, reconciling with AIS/26AS, and completing e-verification — so it's done correctly the first time.
Quick answer
E-filing is submitting your return on the income-tax portal and then verifying it. Verification is the step that completes the filing: it must happen within 30 days, and a return verified later is treated as furnished on the verification date — which can make an on-time return late. An unverified return is treated as invalid.

Overview
What is Income Tax E-Filing?
Income tax e-filing is the electronic submission of your income tax return on the government's e-filing portal. Almost all taxpayers must e-file, and the return isn't complete until it's also e-verified — within the time allowed — after submission.
Doing it right means choosing the correct ITR form for your income, reporting every source, reconciling with your AIS and Form 26AS, claiming the deductions you're entitled to, and verifying on time. Mistakes lead to defective-return notices or mismatches.
Verification is the step people underestimate. The limit is 30 days from filing, and the Income Tax Department is explicit about the consequence: where a return is uploaded within the due date but verified after 30 days, the date of e-verification is treated as the date of furnishing the return. A return filed on 30 July and verified on 5 September is therefore a late return — with the late-filing fee and the loss of loss carry-forward that follow. A return never verified at all is treated as invalid, though a condonation request is possible for a genuine delay. If you spot an error after filing, a revised return is available up to 31 March 2027 for AY 2026-27, and it needs its own verification within 30 days.
We e-file your return end to end and make sure it's verified — so it's filed correctly the first time.

How the Income Tax e-filing portal flow works
Returns are filed on the government e-filing portal and must be e-verified (via Aadhaar OTP, net-banking or other modes) within the allowed window, or they're treated as not filed. After verification, the department processes the return and issues an intimation.
We prepare and file through the official portal and guide you through e-verification. We don't claim a private API or a guaranteed refund — we make sure the return is correct, complete and verified.

FAQs
Income Tax E-Filing — frequently asked questions
What is income tax e-filing?
The electronic submission of your income tax return on the government's e-filing portal. Almost all taxpayers must e-file rather than file on paper.
Do I have to e-verify my return?
Yes. A filed return must be e-verified (e.g. via Aadhaar OTP or net-banking) within the allowed window, or it's treated as not filed. We help you complete it.
Which ITR form should I use?
It depends on your income sources — salary, business, capital gains, etc. We pick the correct form so the return isn't flagged as defective.
What is AIS and Form 26AS?
The Annual Information Statement and the tax-credit statement showing income and TDS reported against your PAN. Your return should reconcile with them. We check this before filing.
Is there a government fee to e-file?
No, there's no portal fee to file the return. You pay only any tax due (statutory) and our professional fee.
How long do refunds take?
Refunds are processed after the return is verified and processed — a correct, verified return tends to be faster. We can't guarantee a timeline as it rests with the department.
What do I receive?
Your e-filed ITR, the AIS/26AS reconciliation, completed e-verification, and the acknowledgement (ITR-V).
